La Unidad de Investigación de Alergología está compuesta por personal investigador Clínico del Servicio de Alergología del Hospital Universitario de Navarra, con amplia trayectoria investigadora previa en asma e inmunoterapia con alérgenos.
Expertos reunidos en la Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA) han instado a los profesionales de la salud y el deporte a convertirse en «agentes de salud» promoviendo la actividad física entre los jóvenes y las mujeres embarazadas. Su objetivo es mejorar la salud y la forma física de la población como estrategia para prevenir enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles como la obesidad, las enfermedades cardíacas o la diabetes tipo 2. La UPNA celebró el jueves 9 de mayo en Pamplona un simposio para debatir sobre la prescripción de ejercicio como forma de mejorar la salud en todas las edades. Organizado por la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas y el Departamento de Ciencias Médicas, el evento reunió a unos 130 expertos en deporte, salud y biomedicina.

As a researcher, she has studied Latin American feminist meetings, analyzing both the most conflictive aspects (confrontations, theoretical differences…) and the positive ones (formation of networks, capacity for joint mobilization,…). In «Some reflections on the VII Latin American and Caribbean Feminist Encounter» she presents her thoughts on the subject.
She is a member of numerous associations and editorial committees in feminist journals and is very involved in the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), of which she was vice-president in 2002 and president from 2003 to 2004.

She studied a law degree at the Escuela Libre de Derecho de Puebla and a master’s degree in constitutional law and amparo. From 2002 to 2004 she worked as a lawyer for the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).[2] From 2005 to 2007 she worked as a lawyer in the amparo department of the comptroller’s office of the municipality of Puebla de Zaragoza.[3] In 2014 she was appointed as a councilor of the municipality of Puebla de Zaragoza.[4] In 2014 she was appointed as a councilor of the municipality of Puebla de Zaragoza.

In the 2018 federal elections, she was elected as a first minority senator for the National Action Party. Since September 1, 2018 she has been a senator representing the state of Puebla in the LXIV Legislature of the Congress of the Union. Within the Senate she is secretary of the Governance Commission and of the bicameral commission of the Congressional Channel.[1].
