In the external practices, you will be able to deepen in the professional practice of the health psychologist, acquiring enough experience to improve your employability as an employee or self-employed, in health centers or services with which the European University of Valencia has established an agreement, performing the evaluation, diagnosis and intervention in disorders and psychological health problems in real contexts.
One of the areas where violence is most common is in the family. From psychology we work on the effective treatment for people who exercise violence towards their partners, in all its typologies, as a form of prevention and rehabilitation.

As it appears in the Order ECD/1070/2013, of June 12, which establishes the requirements for the verification of the official university degrees of Master in General Health Psychology that enables the exercise of the titled and regulated profession of General Health Psychologist, «students must acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for conducting research, evaluations and psychological interventions on those aspects of behavior and activity of people that influence the promotion and improvement of their general state of health, provided that such activities do not require specialized care by other health professionals.»

Los ácaros de la familia Phytoseiidae son los depredadores más comunes de los ácaros fitófagos en la mayoría de las especies vegetales. El estudio de esta familia en Cuba comenzó en los años 70 del siglo pasado, cuando los especialistas cubanos iniciaron su identificación taxonómica. Hasta hoy se han reportado 20 géneros y más de 60 especies. En orden cronológico, los estudios poblacionales en varios cultivos de interés económico, como los cítricos, el plátano, la papa y el arroz, se han sucedido haciendo evidente su impacto en la regulación de las poblaciones de ácaros fitófagos. En la década de los 90 se inició la determinación de los parámetros biológicos de Phytoseiulus macropilis (Banks). Este ácaro fitoseido mostró su eficacia como agente de control biológico de Tetranychus tumidus Banks y Panonychus citri (McGregor) en viveros de plátano y cítricos, respectivamente. En los primeros años del presente siglo, se realizó la caracterización biológica de Amblyseius largoensis (Muma) sobre Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks) evidenciando su alta capacidad depredadora sobre ácaros anchos en la producción protegida de pimiento. El uso de estos ácaros depredadores en las estrategias de inoculación en la práctica agrícola en Cuba se ha visto limitado por la escasa disponibilidad de estos agentes de control biológico, aunque se han evaluado diferentes alternativas para su cría masiva con resultados prometedores.
